DoodleStory is TYPE10 Media’s own product — a hilarious drawing game where doodles and short descriptions are passed around a group and become epic, surprising stories.
What we did
We designed and built the whole thing. The game was released in 2016 on the Apple App Store and Google Play and developed in React & Flux.
The backend is a Node.js REST API that stores its data in Elasticsearch and is deployed on the AWS cloud.
Why it mattered
Building and shipping our own product keeps us honest. DoodleStory is part of a long habit of betting on our own engineering — the same habit that produced Vitao.
