CHECK24 is Germany’s largest comparison platform. TYPE10 Media built the first iteration of its private health insurance (PKV) comparison.
What we did
The backend gathered its data from third-party insurers, with a great deal of effort put into caching that data efficiently in Redis so the comparison stayed fast even under load.
On the frontend, we used React, where usability was everything: the whole experience was built around guiding the user through a comparison form that could otherwise feel overwhelming.
Why it mattered
Insurance comparison lives and dies by trust and clarity. A fast, well-guided form turns a daunting decision into something a visitor can actually complete.
